About the Role
DMOT Enterprises is seeking a reliable and vigilant Duty Security Assistant to join our growing team in Ota, Ogun State. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our premises, personnel, and assets while ensuring smooth daily security operations across our business center and general trading facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Conduct regular patrol checks around the company buildings, perimeters, and storage areas to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
- Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or policy violations immediately to management or local law enforcement authorities.
- Maintain accurate logs of visitors, delivery personnel, and incident reports during your assigned shift.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to support general security protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Possession of an OND, Trade Test, or SSCE certificate from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated experience of 6 months to 2 years working in a similar security or safety role.
- Must be ready and willing to work on-site in Ota, Ogun State.
- Strong observational skills, physical fitness, and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Good communication skills and basic report-writing abilities.
