About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading industrial conglomerate, is seeking a diligent and skilled Drying and Blending Operator to join our dynamic production team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing dryer routes, equipment, and associated accessories to ensure seamless manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities- Operate dryer routes, equipment, and associated accessories, conducting periodic field inspections to monitor equipment condition and verify real-time operational status.
- Ensure all dryers and associated machinery are maintained in optimal working condition through proactive oversight.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve and exceed optimal operational production targets.
- Utilize the Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to continuously monitor, adjust, and control production processes.
- Promptly identify, report, and document equipment faults and malfunctions to the maintenance team for rapid resolution.
- Adhere strictly to established refinery safety procedures, Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) requirements, and Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS).
- Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
- An Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or higher qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong technical background and practical understanding of dryer and conveyor operations.
- Proficiency in Human-Machine Interface (HMI) operation and basic troubleshooting.
