About the Role
Hotel Capitol, a modern three-star luxury hotel strategically located in the heart of Omole Phase 1, Lagos, is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our dynamic operations team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing safe, comfortable, and professional transportation services while maintaining our fleet to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks before moving the automobile.
- Obey all traffic rules, regulations, and laws to ensure absolute compliance and safety on the road.
- Monitor and ensure validity of all vehicle particulars and personal driving documents at all times.
- Handle both intra-state and inter-state travels smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of all driving activities, including mileage and fuel consumption records.
- Ensure the utmost safety and comfort of passengers during transport by strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct yourself in a responsible, courteous, and professional manner at all times.
- Work flexible hours as required by the operational demands of the hotel.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification.
- Must possess a valid, current Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience within a structured organization.
- Proficiency in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Demonstrated familiarity with inter-state travel routes across Nigeria.
- Must reside within the Lagos mainland axis, specifically around Ogba, Akute, Ojodu Berger, Agege, Ojota, Ketu, or Magboro.
