About the Role
Whassan Nigeria Limited (WENL), in partnership with Adasa Catering Services Ltd, has been a trusted provider of premium facilities management and support services since 1982. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Driver to join our dynamic logistics team on a renewable contract basis, operating across both onshore and offshore locations in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport company personnel, VIPs, and materials to designated onshore and offshore locations.
- Perform routine daily vehicle inspections, including checking oil, water, battery, brakes, and tire pressure.
- Ensure adherence to all Nigerian traffic laws, company safety policies, and journey management protocols.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logbooks detailing mileage, fuel consumption, and travel routes.
- Report any mechanical faults, accidents, or near-misses immediately to the logistics supervisor.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean, well-maintained, and secure at all times.
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the oil and gas or industrial sector.
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License and Defensive Driving certification.
- Good knowledge of major Nigerian routes, traffic regulations, and vehicle maintenance.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to interact professionally with staff and clients.
- Good organizational skills, punctuality, and strict attention to safety standards.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to flexible working schedules, including offshore rotations.
