About the Role
Shalina Healthcare is a market leader in making quality healthcare products affordable and available across Africa. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispensing Associate to join our dynamic warehouse and production team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our warehouse operations by accurately dispensing, weighing, issuing, and documenting raw and packaging materials required for pharmaceutical production, ensuring strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Receive approved material requisitions from the Production Department and ensure materials are dispensed according to authorized requests.
- Accurately weigh, measure, and dispense raw materials in accordance with approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and dispensing instructions.
- Verify material names, batch numbers, quantities, status labels, and expiry dates before dispensing.
- Ensure that only approved and released materials are issued for production activities.
- Perform dispensing operations in designated dispensing areas while maintaining cleanliness and preventing cross-contamination.
- Ensure proper identification, labelling, and documentation of all dispensed materials.
- Maintain accurate records of materials issued, quantities dispensed, material balances, and batch details.
- Minimum of OND in Science Laboratory Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, or any related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse dispensing or pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrated experience in raw material handling, weighing, and dispensing within a pharmaceutical environment will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent record-keeping skills, and a solid understanding of GMP and safety standards.
