About the Role
Penafort Energy Limited is an indigenous Nigerian company operating within the downstream oil and gas and the food and beverage sectors. We are currently seeking a responsible, reliable, and experienced Dispatch Rider to join our drinks subsidiary in Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily operations by ensuring the safe and prompt delivery of products, documents, and packages to our esteemed customers and business partners.
Key Responsibilities- Handle the timely and safe delivery of company documents, goods, packages, and other assigned items to designated locations.
- Plan efficient delivery routes across Festac Town, Amuwo Odofin, and other parts of Lagos to ensure prompt service and minimise delays.
- Maintain proper records of all deliveries, including delivery notes, receipts, and acknowledgements.
- Ensure the company motorcycle is properly maintained, clean, and in good working condition at all times.
- Conduct routine pre-ride checks on fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, and overall engine condition.
- Immediately report any mechanical faults, accidents, delays, or challenges encountered during transit.
- Comply strictly with all traffic regulations, road safety requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor when interacting with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Ensure absolute accountability for company property, cash, and items entrusted to you.
- Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC qualification.
- At least 2 years of proven professional experience working as a Dispatch Rider.
- Must possess a valid motorcycle riding licence.
- Good working knowledge of Festac Town, Amuwo Odofin, and major routes across Lagos State.
- Strong physical fitness, punctuality, discipline, and dependability.
- Previous experience working with a retail business, supermarket, distribution outfit, or logistics company is a strong added advantage.
