About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Dispatch Rider to join our client's operations team in Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for the prompt and secure delivery of packages, documents, and other items, while maintaining excellent customer service standards and strict compliance with road safety regulations.
This role is ideal for an experienced rider who is well-versed in Lagos routes, values punctuality, and takes pride in delivering a professional service on every trip.
Key Responsibilities- Pick up and deliver packages to assigned locations within Lagos in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all deliveries reach customers safely and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, receipts, and payments where applicable.
- Conduct regular inspections of the motorcycle to ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Strictly adhere to traffic laws and road safety regulations during all deliveries.
- Promptly report any delivery delays, issues, or vehicle maintenance needs to management.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries, representing the company professionally at all times.
- Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification.
- Valid Rider's Permit and Lagos State Driver's License.
- 1–2 years of proven experience as a dispatch rider.
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos routes and road networks.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
