We are currently seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Finance / Financial Controller to oversee our comprehensive financial operations. In this executive role, you will be instrumental in shaping the fiscal success of our prestigious property, ensuring robust financial governance, and supporting our commitment to delivering unparalleled luxury experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management for the luxury property.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures in compliance with Nigerian tax laws and international hospitality standards.
- Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to executive management to drive profitability, cost control, and revenue growth.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, tax authorities, and legal advisors.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team to ensure high performance and adherence to deadlines.
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory management systems specific to high-end hospitality operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is highly desirable.
- Professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is strictly required.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role within the luxury hospitality or real estate sector.
- Exceptional knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations, tax compliance, and modern hospitality ERP systems.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage complex budgets, and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
