About the Role
G-Prest Imperial Limited is a leading agro-allied manufacturing company dedicated to transforming Nigeria's agricultural sector through the production of premium animal feeds under the Ginika Feeds brand. Operating an advanced automated feed mill in Owerri, Imo State, we are committed to driving food security, sustainable development, and economic growth. We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Deputy Production Manager to join our facility and support daily manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily feed production processes to ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and output targets.
- Maintain compliance with industrial hygiene and regulatory requirements, including SON and NAFDAC guidelines.
- Manage raw material inventory, minimize production waste, and optimize overall mill efficiency.
- Lead, schedule, train, and appraise the factory production team to foster a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate closely with the maintenance department to address equipment downtime and ensure prompt machinery servicing.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive daily and weekly production reports to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
- Bachelor's degree or B.Tech in Production Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agriculture, Animal Science, Animal Production, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in feed production, specifically covering poultry feed, fish feed, premix, or related manufacturing lines.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including production management software and automated factory controls.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, training, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to reside and work full-time at our Owerri, Imo State facility.
