About the Role
Lily Hospitals Limited, a pioneer in private healthcare in Nigeria since 1984, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive oral healthcare services, diagnose and treat dental conditions, and promote preventive oral hygiene practices to ensure exceptional patient satisfaction within our multi-specialty hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Examine patients' teeth, gums, and oral structures to accurately diagnose dental conditions.
- Perform routine and restorative dental procedures including scaling, polishing, fillings, and extractions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Interpret dental X-rays and manage accurate patient health records.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control protocols and properly maintain dental equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) with a current practising licence.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience in general dentistry.
