We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Credit Risk Analyst to join our dynamic risk team and support our expanding lending portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and process SME loan applications and supporting documents with high accuracy.
- Assess borrowers’ creditworthiness, financial statements, and repayment capacity in line with established policies.
- Make sound credit recommendations aligned with company underwriting standards and risk appetite.
- Liaise closely with Field Verification Officers and the broader Risk Team to resolve loan-related discrepancies.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance of all loan documentation.
- Monitor portfolio performance, maintain proper records, and support ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in loan underwriting, credit analysis, or a closely related role.
- Prior experience performing risk evaluation within the Nigerian financial services sector is highly desirable.
- Experience working in banking, fintech, or digital lending environments is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical reporting skills.
