About the Role

We are currently looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Crane and Forklift Operator to join our dynamic operations team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating mobile, pedestal, and overhead cranes alongside forklifts, ensuring all heavy lifting and material handling activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with industry standards and client procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate mobile, pedestal, and overhead cranes in accordance with API RP 2D, crane load charts, and approved lifting procedures.
- Maneuver forklifts safely to transport parts, tools, and equipment within designated work areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-use and daily inspections on all cranes and forklifts, accurately recording operating hours and reporting defects to the Crane Foreman.
- Support technicians, crane specialists, and certified inspectors during maintenance, functional testing, and load tests.
- Comply fully with Permit to Work systems, Job Hazard Analyses, and VURIN HSE policies to maintain a zero-incident work environment.
- Maintain clear, continuous communication with the banksman and signal person during all lifting and rigging activities.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND educational qualification.
- Certified Crane Operator with API 2D qualification and Certified Forklift Operator credentials.
- Valid BOSIET or OSP certification required for offshore assignments.
- At least 5 years of proven hands-on experience in crane and forklift operations within the oil and gas or infrastructure sector.
- Strong working knowledge of crane load charts, lifting plans, and standard hand signals.
