About the Role
Monarch Techno Engineering Solutions (MTES) is looking for a highly skilled Corrosion Cathodic Protection Specialist to join our growing team of engineering professionals. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in corrosion control, cathodic protection design, and pipeline integrity within the Oil & Gas and EPC industries.
As a specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and longevity of critical infrastructure by applying industry-leading standards and best practices across FEED, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities- Design, review, and implement cathodic protection systems for pipelines, structures, and facilities.
- Conduct corrosion assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Support FEED, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning activities related to corrosion control.
- Ensure compliance with international codes and standards including ASME, API, ANSI, NACE, IEC, and ISO.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and deliverables in line with project requirements.
- Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and risk assessment sessions as required.
- Utilize engineering software tools to support design and analysis tasks.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (relevant discipline).
- 8-15+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Pipeline, or EPC projects.
- Proven experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, Construction, or Commissioning phases.
- Strong knowledge of international codes & standards (ASME, API, ANSI, NACE, IEC, ISO, etc.).
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, P&ID, HYSYS, E3D, ETAP, and CAESAR II.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with piping, pipeline, and process design is an advantage.
