About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Sales Branch Head to drive the acquisition and growth of corporate accounts, strengthen broker relationships, and execute effective branch-level sales strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills, structured sales execution capabilities, and a proven ability to convert medium-to-large corporate opportunities across targeted industries, while mentoring and coaching team members to achieve sales excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive strategic sales plans to meet individual and branch targets.
  • Prospect, pitch, and convert new corporate clients via direct channels, partnerships, and public sector accounts.
  • Manage and grow broker relationships, enhancing lead flow and conversion quality.
  • Identify and process bid and RFP opportunities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Pitch PZL products to banks, co-underwriters, ZGIC, insurance partners, and institutional clients.
  • Manage corporate client relationships, ensuring consistent value delivery and retention.
  • Provide proactive support on client issues, renewals, and servicing needs.
  • Prepare weekly reports, monthly MPR inputs, and pipeline updates for management review.
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with underwriting, operations, and customer service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in corporate sales, insurance, or financial services.
  • CIIN certification (in progress or completed) is an advantage.
  • Additional sales or relationship management training is desirable.
  • Strong B2B selling, pitching, and negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding of corporate life insurance products, including Group Life, Credit Life, and Mortgage Protection.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across brokers, banks, and institutional clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong reporting, market analysis, and forecasting abilities.
  • Proactive, organized, resourceful, and target-driven mindset.
