About the Role
Dunn & Braxton, a team of seasoned professionals with a combined experience of over 50 years, is looking for a talented Core Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is central to the day-to-day operations of our Managed WAN Services, encompassing fiber, LTE, satellite, and microwave infrastructure, ensuring the network consistently performs at its best.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the company's Managed Services Network across all delivery media.
- Oversee reporting on availability, throughput, and performance, translating data into actionable insights for the business and clients.
- Liaise with bandwidth and connectivity vendors for testing, validation, installation, commissioning, and integration into client networks.
- Collaborate with the Network Operations Center HelpDesk to ensure maximum network performance and swift identification of outages or performance issues.
- Proactively manage the operation and maintenance of a resilient, scalable, and optimized Managed Services environment.
- Coordinate with partners to ensure smooth service delivery, intervening as needed to optimize performance.
- Ensure Network Operations align with company SLAs and that HelpDesk operations meet client expectations.
- Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly Availability and Performance Reports in conjunction with the Revenue Assurance function.
- Work closely with the HelpDesk and Project Team to ensure timely service delivery, rapid issue resolution, and high reliability.
- Support the Team Lead, Core Infrastructure, in optimizing network assets for speed, resilience, and profitability.
- HND/BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology.
- MIKROTIK MTCRE certification (mandatory); MIKROTIK MTCINE (preferred); CISCO CCNP is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MPLS networks, VPLS, layer2/layer3 tunneling, UBNT radios, network sizing, traffic engineering, network optimization, and reporting.
- Strong team player with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
