About the Role
Monarch Techno Engineering Solutions (MTES) is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Control System Engineer to join our growing team of professionals delivering world-class engineering solutions across the Oil & Gas, Construction, and Engineering Design sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects while contributing to safe, efficient, and innovative control system operations.
As a Control System Engineer at MTES, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems
- Review and interpret P&IDs, I&C drawings, datasheets, and technical specifications
- Conduct calibration, loop checking, and troubleshooting of field instruments
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry codes, standards, and safety regulations
- Provide technical support during project execution, testing, and start-up phases
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Prepare accurate technical documentation and reports for project records
- Identify and resolve control system issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Instrumentation / Electronics / Control & Automation)
- 5–12+ years of experience in Instrumentation & Control within Oil & Gas or EPC projects
- Strong hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA systems, and field instrumentation
- Solid understanding of P&IDs, I&C drawings, and technical datasheets
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best engineering practices
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
- ISA/IEC 61511 (preferred) or relevant instrumentation certification
- First Aid & CPR
- H2S Alive
- Permit to Work (PTW)
