About the Role
Zael Business Management and Consulting is currently recruiting a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Family Physician on behalf of our esteemed healthcare client in Nigeria. In this pivotal role, you will deliver exceptional primary healthcare services, manage complex medical cases, and provide expert clinical leadership to ensure the highest standards of patient care are consistently met across our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered primary healthcare services to individuals and families across all age groups.
- Diagnose, manage, and coordinate treatment for acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring seamless multidisciplinary care.
- Lead and supervise clinical teams, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and adherence to medical ethics.
- Participate in medical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and health promotion programs within the facility.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.
- Collaborate effectively with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient management plans.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Fellowship qualification in Family Medicine from a recognized postgraduate medical college, such as the NPMCN or WACP.
- Valid registration and a current practicing license issued by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Substantial clinical experience practicing Family Medicine and delivering high-quality primary healthcare services.
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic reasoning, clinical judgment, and managing complex medical cases.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
