About the Role
Sapir Projects Limited is a wholly indigenous Nigerian company with extensive expertise in architecture, construction, interior design, and real estate development. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Builder to join our growing team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, and maintaining strict compliance with safety regulations across our diverse residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily on-site construction activities across Sapir Projects Limited’s building and interior design projects.
- Interpret and implement architectural and structural drawings accurately on site.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage site personnel, subcontractors, and materials to maintain workflow efficiency and timely project delivery.
- Identify site-related issues early and provide practical, cost-effective solutions in consultation with project leads.
- Conduct routine inspections of workmanship and materials to maintain high quality and durability.
- Liaise with the project manager, designers, quantity surveyors, and clients to ensure the design intent is effectively executed.
- Maintain detailed records including daily site reports, material usage logs, and progress documentation.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on construction site experience, preferably in residential, commercial, and interior fit-out projects.
- Strong knowledge of building construction processes, methods, and safety protocols.
- Proven ability to interpret and implement construction and architectural drawings.
- Experience supervising skilled and unskilled labor, subcontractors, and vendors on-site.
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Health and safety certification or relevant trade certification is an added advantage.
