About the Role
Davina Hotel & Resort is seeking a dedicated and physically fit Compound Cleaner to join our hospitality team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall aesthetic appeal of our hotel grounds, ensuring every guest experiences a pristine and welcoming environment from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities- Sweep and maintain walkways, driveways, parking lots, and entrance areas free of debris, leaves, and litter.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and surrounding areas remain hygienic.
- Maintain landscaped areas, water plants, remove weeds, and report any outdoor facility damages promptly.
- Adhere strictly to workplace safety regulations, placing warning signs as needed and handling cleaning tools responsibly.
- Demonstrate professional conduct, excellent personal hygiene, and punctuality while representing the hotel.
- Minimum of primary school education; secondary school completion is an advantage.
- Prior experience in compound cleaning, environmental sanitation, or facility maintenance preferred.
- High physical fitness and stamina to perform routine outdoor cleaning tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong integrity, discipline, and the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
