About the Role
Scruples Resources, a premier consultancy and human resource provider for the Nigerian economy, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Completions Engineer III to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the preparation of detailed engineering designs, coordinate well completion phases, and ensure that all geological and reservoir objectives are met while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed engineering designs, well plans, and optimal cost investments for well completions.
- Facilitate the preparation and monitor capital budgets relating to completions and well design.
- Ensure accurate and sustainable data quality for project timing and technical reviews.
- Interact daily with completion foremen, drilling leadership, and service companies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Identify and apply industry best practices and emerging technologies, including subsea systems.
- Collaborate with safety, environmental, and field operations personnel to optimize overall safety performance.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Broad and extensive knowledge of completions design, equipment, operations, standards, and specifications.
- Strong personal effectiveness in leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
- Proven ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and fluent English communication skills.
