About the Role
Honeytreat Trade Academy is a leading vocational and skills development institution dedicated to equipping individuals with practical, industry-relevant competencies. We are currently seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and experienced Company Driver to join our dedicated operations team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the academy by providing safe, timely, and professional transportation services for our management, staff, and official visitors, as well as handling logistical errands as required.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport management, staff, and authorized personnel to official meetings, events, and project sites across designated locations.
- Ensure the safe delivery of official documents, training materials, and equipment to designated destinations.
- Conduct routine daily inspections of assigned vehicles, checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lights to ensure optimal roadworthiness.
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, accidents, or required maintenance to the administrative department.
- Adhere strictly to Nigerian traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logbooks recording mileage, fuel consumption, and travel destinations.
- Perform minor routine maintenance tasks and ensure vehicles are duly serviced and licensed.
- Minimum of a Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with a valid Nigerian driver's license (Class E or relevant category).
- Proven professional driving experience, preferably within an educational institution, corporate organization, or structured establishment.
- Exceptional knowledge of Nigerian road networks, traffic regulations, and routes within the operating state.
- Good defensive driving skills with a clean driving record and zero history of major traffic infractions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
