About the Role

Monarch Techno Engineering Solutions (MTES) is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer/Lead to join our growing team of professionals delivering excellence across the Oil & Gas, Construction, and Engineering Design sectors. This role is ideal for a seasoned commissioning specialist ready to lead critical pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities on complex industrial projects.

As a Commissioning Engineer/Lead at MTES, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that systems and equipment are handed over safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution from pre-commissioning through to final handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate commissioning planning and execution across assigned project scopes
  • Conduct pre-commissioning checks, systemization, and readiness verification
  • Oversee loop checking, punch listing, and resolution of outstanding items
  • Supervise start-up activities and performance testing of systems and equipment
  • Interpret and apply P&IDs and commissioning procedures accurately
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during commissioning phases
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive commissioning documentation and reports
  • Manage handover and close-out activities in line with project requirements
  • Coordinate effectively with vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards and site safety protocols

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
  • 8–12+ years of hands-on commissioning experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or EPC projects
  • Proven expertise in pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and performance testing
  • Strong knowledge of P&IDs, loop checks, and commissioning procedures
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
  • Mandatory certifications: First Aid & CPR, H2S Alive, and Permit to Work (PTW)
  • OEM Training and Vendor Equipment Certification are an added advantage
  • Demonstrated skills in documentation, reporting, and vendor interface coordination
