About the Role
Siemens, Europe's largest engineering company, seeks an experienced Commercial Project Manager to serve as the financial business partner for our Sales and Project Management teams. In this strategic role, you will manage all financial and commercial aspects of service orders throughout the complete project lifecycle, from bid preparation through contract execution and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and negotiate financial and commercial terms of customer proposals and Master Frame Agreements
- Ensure accurate cost calculations and competitive pricing strategies during contract negotiations with Sales Leads and Project Managers
- Perform monthly revenue recognition, forecasting, and comprehensive financial reporting using IFRS 15 and local GAAP standards
- Manage project cash flow, profitability margins, and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor contractual compliance including performance guarantees, foreign exchange hedging, and tax requirements
- Prepare financial status reports for senior management and key stakeholders
- Support internal and external audits while maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations
- Communicate financial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Finance, Commercial Management, or Project Finance
- Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong expertise in IFRS 15, revenue recognition, and Percentage of Completion accounting
- Experience in industrial or engineering project environments preferred
- Fluent in Portuguese and English; third language advantageous
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
