About the Role
Recore Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Coal Mine Operations Officer to join our dynamic operations team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in coordinating daily coal loading, truck deployment, payload monitoring, and dispatch operations to guarantee efficient and safe coal evacuation processes. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily coal loading, truck deployment, and dispatch activities seamlessly.
- Monitor truck payloads, weighbridge operations, waybills, and all dispatch documentation accurately.
- Track daily truck movements, total tonnage, vehicle turnaround time, and operational delays.
- Ensure strict compliance with mine-site safety standards and regulated vehicle loading limits.
- Monitor coal quality and promptly report any operational challenges to management.
- Prepare comprehensive daily operational reports and coordinate with logistics teams and stakeholders to achieve evacuation targets.
- Minimum of OND, NCE, or an equivalent academic qualification.
- Practical knowledge of truck loading, payload monitoring, weighbridge operations, and dispatch documentation.
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel and general reporting skills.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work on-site at mining locations and adapt to shift duties or weekends when required.
