About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious CNG Truck Driver to join our inbound logistics team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our cement manufacturing operations by ensuring the timely and secure transportation of raw materials while utilizing eco-friendly, CNG-powered heavy-duty vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport raw materials to designated plant areas while adhering to strict traffic and environmental regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the CNG fuel system, engine, and truck components.
- Monitor gas pressure levels, report mechanical faults immediately, and safely manage high-pressure CNG fueling lines.
- Apply defensive and eco-driving techniques to optimize fuel efficiency, minimize carbon emissions, and reduce idle times.
- Maintain compliance with Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) guidelines, axle weight limits, and scheduled Turnaround Times (TAT).
- Minimum of an SSCE certificate with a valid Nigerian Class G Heavy Truck Driver's License.
- 1 to 3 years of verifiable experience driving heavy-duty articulated trucks within the manufacturing, cement, or mining sectors.
- Demonstrated clean driving record with zero major vehicular accidents.
