About the Role
Join the Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified business conglomerate, as a CNG Truck Driver. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of CNG trucks, transporting production materials across our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant. This role is essential to our logistics operations and requires a dedicated professional committed to safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CNG trucks safely to transport production materials across plant lines and facilities
- Conduct routine pre-operation and post-operation inspections, including oil levels, water levels, and tire pressure checks
- Perform regular vehicle maintenance and cleaning to ensure trucks remain in optimal operating condition
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and report mechanical or electrical issues promptly
- Strictly adhere to company safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production and logistics timelines
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
- Minimum SSCE qualification or Trade Test Certification
- Minimum three (3) years of professional truck driving experience
- Valid commercial driving license with clean record
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical awareness
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
