About the Role
HR-on-Wheels is partnering with a growing food retail business focused on providing affordable, convenient, and quality street food through a dynamic network of food carts. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Cluster Manager to oversee multiple food carts, drive sales performance, supervise attendants, manage stock and cash accountability, and ensure smooth daily operations across assigned locations in Lagos. Please note that this role is strictly for candidates who currently reside near the Oja Oba/Ayobo axis or the Mile 12/Kosofe axis.
Key Responsibilities- Drive daily and monthly sales targets consistently across all assigned food carts within your designated cluster.
- Supervise, coach, and manage cart attendants to ensure strict compliance with company operational and hygiene standards.
- Monitor sales transactions, reconcile cash and bank transfers meticulously, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage inventory, ingredients, and supplies efficiently while minimizing waste and upholding superior product quality.
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor cart performance, audit stock, and resolve operational challenges swiftly.
- Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly sales and operational reports for management review.
- Identify strategic opportunities to improve sales volumes, enhance customer experience, and boost overall business performance.
- Minimum of an OND or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in retail operations, FMCG sales, food service, distribution, or field supervision.
- Prior experience supervising multiple retail outlets, vendors, or decentralized field teams is a strong added advantage.
- Proven ability to work with aggressive sales targets, performance reports, and operational records.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking and reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
