About the Role
Danferd Specialist Clinics is a fully equipped private hospital located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, providing comprehensive healthcare services on a 24-hour basis. We are currently seeking a dedicated, vigilant, and reliable Clinic Security Officer to join our professional team and maintain a safe, secure environment for our patients, visitors, and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor hospital premises, entrances, and exits to prevent unauthorized access and maintain site security.
- Patrol hospital grounds regularly to check for hazards, suspicious activities, or security breaches.
- Manage visitor logs and direct patients and guests to appropriate departments within the facility.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when swift intervention is required.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and distress calls from medical and administrative staff.
- Enforce hospital security policies and safety protocols across all shifts.
- Must be a university or polytechnic graduate with a valid post-NYSC certificate.
- Must reside within close proximity (not more than one bus drop) to the hospital in Port Harcourt for easy emergency commutes.
- Prior security experience in a healthcare or corporate environment will be a strong added advantage.
- Strong situational awareness, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
- Physical fitness and readiness to work flexible shifts in a 24-hour medical setting.
