About the Role
Awka Millennium City (AMC) is a premier multi-nucleic real estate development redefining urban living in Awka, Anambra State, backed by M-P Infrastructure Ltd. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in upholding the exceptional standards of our world-class residential and commercial community, ensuring pristine environments for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness across residential, commercial, and shared public areas, including restrooms, corridors, offices, and outdoor walkways.
- Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and proper waste collection and disposal.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively in accordance with established hygiene protocols.
- Inspect assigned spaces regularly and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the facilities team.
- Collaborate closely with facilities and security personnel to foster a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment throughout the city.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and operational guidelines while managing time efficiently to complete tasks on schedule.
- Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to consistently maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Basic knowledge of professional cleaning methods, janitorial equipment, and the safe handling of chemicals.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Good time management skills, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective basic communication skills to report maintenance issues and coordinate tasks clearly.
- Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial, or facility maintenance roles is considered a strong advantage.
