About the Role
Tongyi Allied Mining Limited is a leading multinational mining company with extensive operations across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Chinese Translator to bridge communication gaps and facilitate seamless daily operations between our local and international teams.
Key Responsibilities- Provide accurate verbal interpretation and written translation between Mandarin Chinese and English during meetings, site visits, and daily business activities.
- Translate technical reports, corporate emails, official documents, and operational correspondence with high precision and attention to context.
- Coordinate closely with expatriate and local staff to ensure mutual understanding and smooth execution of mining and administrative tasks.
- Assist management with administrative duties, record-keeping, and cross-cultural communication support.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive company documents, data, and internal communications.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Chinese Language, Linguistics, Modern Languages, or a related field of study.
- Exceptional fluency in both written and spoken Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably within a multicultural, engineering, or mining environment.
- Strong understanding of Chinese and Western business etiquette and professional communication standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with modern digital communication tools.
