We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy, engineering, and digital innovation efforts. In this pivotal remote role, you will shape our technical vision, scale robust financial systems, and drive cutting-edge solutions that align with our overarching business objectives while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive technology strategies aligned with the company's long-term business goals and growth targets.
- Oversee end-to-end software development lifecycles, engineering practices, and day-to-day technology operations.
- Guarantee the ultimate security, scalability, and high reliability of critical financial technology systems and infrastructure.
- Lead, mentor, and manage high-performing engineering and technology teams in a dynamic remote environment.
- Drive continuous digital innovation, automation, and internal process improvements across the organization.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant cybersecurity frameworks, data protection laws, and financial services regulations.
- Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic external partnerships effectively.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to identify new opportunities and support rapid business expansion.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
- 12 to 15 years of robust professional experience within the financial services sector, specifically focusing on fintech, banking, or digital payments.
- Proven track record of success operating as a CTO, Head of Engineering, Head of Technology, or in a similar senior executive leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of modern software architecture, cloud infrastructure, advanced cybersecurity protocols, and IT management.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and complex problem-solving capabilities.
- Full professional fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in French is considered a strong added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and collaborate seamlessly within a remote work model.
- Competitive gross monthly salary ranging from N1,500,000 to N2,000,000.
