About the Role
JC Prime Consulting Limited, a leading professional HR consulting firm in Nigeria, is currently recruiting a Chief Security Officer on behalf of our esteemed client in the hospitality industry. We are looking for a highly disciplined and seasoned professional to spearhead our security framework, safeguarding guests, personnel, and physical assets across the facility.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and emergency response protocols for the hotel.
- Lead, train, mentor, and supervise all internal security personnel and third-party security guards.
- Ensure the absolute safety and security of guests, staff, property, and organizational assets at all times.
- Conduct regular, rigorous risk assessments, threat analyses, and comprehensive security audits.
- Manage advanced access control systems, CCTV surveillance networks, and crowd control procedures during events.
- Maintain proactive liaison with law enforcement agencies, the Department of State Services (DSS), and community security networks.
- Investigate all security breaches and incidents thoroughly, preparing detailed analytical reports for management.
- Must be a retired officer from the DSS, Police, Army, or another recognized Nigerian security agency (Retired DSS background is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 10 years of active security service experience, with at least 3 years served in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Prior working experience in hotel or hospitality security management is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated high levels of professional integrity, strict discipline, and optimal physical fitness.
- Exceptional leadership, intelligence gathering, crisis management, and conflict resolution skills.
- Must reside in or be fully willing to relocate to Lagos State.
