About the Role
Handyman Daige Properties is a premier real estate development company based in Abuja, dedicated to delivering exceptional, customized homes tailored to our clients' unique specifications. We are currently seeking an experienced and vigilant Chief Security Officer (CSO) to oversee the safety of our personnel, physical assets, active construction sites, and overall corporate operations. In this critical leadership role, you will develop robust security frameworks, manage internal and outsourced security teams, and collaborate closely with law enforcement agencies to mitigate risk effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive company security strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Lead, train, and supervise internal security personnel and contracted private guard services across all sites.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, thorough security audits, and proactive threat analyses for real estate projects.
- Oversee modern access control systems, CCTV surveillance networks, and state-of-the-art alarm infrastructure.
- Manage rapid incident response, lead internal investigations, and prepare detailed executive reports.
- Maintain strong liaison relationships with the Nigeria Police Force and other relevant security and regulatory agencies.
- Plan and coordinate executive protection protocols as well as security for company events and site movements.
- Advise senior management on emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity strategies.
- Manage the corporate security budget and oversee vendor relationships to ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Must be a retired Superintendent of Police (SP) or Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) from the Nigeria Police Force.
- Demonstrable verifiable record of honorable service with an unblemished disciplinary record.
- Extensive leadership, investigative, and operational risk management experience within a corporate or security environment.
- Exceptional knowledge of physical security systems, advanced surveillance technology, and crisis response tactics.
- Superior communication skills, unwavering integrity, and sound professional judgment under pressure.
- Availability to respond promptly to emergency situations at any time.
- Additional recognized security or management certifications will be considered a distinct advantage.
