We are currently seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Risk Officer to join our executive leadership team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive enterprise-wide risk management frameworks across all business verticals.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, strategic, and compliance risks effectively.
- Advise executive management and the board of directors on risk exposure levels and strategic mitigation strategies.
- Establish robust risk policies, internal controls, and transparent reporting structures.
- Oversee regulatory compliance and corporate governance requirements in alignment with Nigerian laws and industry standards.
- Monitor internal and external risk factors that may affect business continuity and profitability.
- Lead risk reporting, internal audits, and stress testing activities to safeguard company assets.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in risk management, compliance, or related senior leadership roles.
- Strong, demonstrated knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks and regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and high-level decision-making skills.
- Proven leadership capabilities with exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Relevant professional risk management or audit certifications (e.g., CRC, ACA, PRM, or equivalent) will be a strong added advantage.
