Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Chemistry lessons in accordance with the national and international secondary school curriculum.
- Design and conduct practical laboratory experiments to enhance students' theoretical understanding and scientific inquiry skills.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of academic performance.
- Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
- Prepare students effectively for external examinations such as WAEC, NECO, and other relevant assessments.
- Participate in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Education (Chemistry), or a related scientific discipline.
- Proven teaching experience in secondary education, specifically teaching Chemistry at senior secondary levels.
- Deep knowledge of current secondary school science curricula and modern pedagogical approaches.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Strong commitment to upholding the moral and academic standards of the institution.
- Possession of a teaching certification (e.g., TRCN) will be an added advantage.
