About the Role
First Treebones Hotel & Resort is a premier hospitality destination located in Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. Founded by visionary entrepreneur Mr. Steven Ukpabi, our luxury resort is currently preparing for its grand opening and seeking passionate culinary professionals. We are looking for talented Chefs and Kitchen Assistants to join our dynamic kitchen team and help us set a new standard for luxury dining and guest satisfaction in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with the resort's gourmet standards and recipes.
- Assist head chefs with food preparation, ingredient portioning, and station setup.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food stock levels, inspect ingredient freshness, and report inventory needs to management.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure prompt and seamless food service delivery.
- Relevant culinary school training, certifications, or equivalent practical experience in commercial kitchens.
- Strong work ethic, professional demeanor, and a polite, well-mannered approach to teamwork.
- Exceptional commitment to delivering outstanding guest service and culinary excellence.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure hospitality environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a hotel, resort, or fine-dining restaurant setting will be a distinct advantage.
