We are currently looking for a meticulous and dedicated Certified Crane Inspector to join our dynamic team and ensure the utmost safety and integrity of our lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform independent pre-use, periodic, and post-repair inspections of cranes, hoists, and lifting accessories in strict accordance with API RP 2D and OEM requirements.
- Witness crane load tests, verifying that test results, test weights, and rigging are suitable and compliant.
- Identify and document equipment defects, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and manage accurate inspection certification registers.
- Collaborate closely with crane foremen, specialists, and client representatives to ensure timely resolution of inspection findings.
- Adhere strictly to Permit to Work systems, job hazard analyses, and VURIN HSE life-saving rules during all onshore and offshore assignments.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering.
- Mandatory API RP 2D Qualified Crane Inspector certification.
- Valid LEEA or recognized third-party lifting equipment inspector certification, along with a valid BOSIET/HUET for offshore travel.
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable crane inspection experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in NDT (MT/UT) Level II methods and Microsoft Office tools for professional technical reporting.
