About the Role
The Dangote Group, Africa's leading industrial conglomerate, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Central Control Room (CCR) Operator - Production to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Nigeria. In this critical role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the seamless operation of our production lines, ensuring that our high standards for quality, safety, and environmental compliance are consistently met across all plant processes.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor various sections of the production line from the Central Control Room to ensure precision and adherence to cement manufacturing standards.
- Coordinate with shift coordinators, engineers, patrollers, and field operators to provide actionable operational guidance and feedback.
- Control plant process lines to guarantee stable equipment operation, employee safety, and adherence to environmental regulations.
- Log process data at specified intervals, maintain accurate documentation, and prepare detailed shift reports.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose operating problems independently or in consultation with engineers to ensure rapid resumption of production.
- Continuously review plant automation systems and recommend improvements based on industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical and Processing Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant working experience in a CCR or production environment within the cement or heavy manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in plant automation systems and process control troubleshooting.
