About the Role
District 9 Branded Residences (Velmonti Palace), Abuja's upcoming landmark ultra-luxury destination, is opening its doors for world-class hospitality talent! We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CCTV Operator to join our elite security team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding our premises, guests, and staff by maintaining constant surveillance and responding swiftly to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor multiple CCTV screens and alarm systems continuously to detect suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Operate security cameras and emergency equipment effectively within the control room.
- Report any safety hazards, suspicious behaviors, or equipment malfunctions immediately to the Head of Security.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily surveillance activities, incidents, and visitor movements.
- Collaborate closely with on-ground security personnel to investigate alarms or security alerts promptly.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and hospitality industry standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar security surveillance role, preferably within luxury hospitality or high-end residential environments.
- Relevant professional certifications in security operations or surveillance monitoring will be an added advantage.
- Exceptional observational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Proficiency in operating modern security monitoring software and surveillance hardware.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with the security team.
- Must be resident in Abuja or willing to relocate.
