About the Role
Gemstone Factory, a leading producer of premium bottled water, is looking for a competent and reliable Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cash transactions, operating point-of-sale systems, and maintaining financial accuracy while upholding our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Process customer payments accurately using POS machines and cash handling procedures
- Reconcile daily cash registers and prepare financial reports
- Maintain meticulous records of all transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle inquiries professionally
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational efficiency
- OND or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–2 years of proven experience as a Cashier or similar role
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic accounting principles
- Strong numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and integrity
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
