About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI), a leading HR and Management Consultancy firm, is hiring a professional Hotel Cashier on behalf of our hospitality client. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, and reconciling payments for hotel services while maintaining strict financial accuracy and providing stellar customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Process guest bills and receive payments through cash, POS terminals, bank transfers, and other authorized channels.
- Maintain secure cash floats, manage opening and closing balances, and conduct daily shift reconciliations.
- Operate hotel Point-of-Sale (POS) and Property Management Systems (PMS) accurately and securely.
- Verify and document approved refunds, discounts, and bill adjustments in compliance with financial policies.
- Resolve billing inquiries professionally and escalate complex issues to management promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive financial records and ensure strict confidentiality of guest data.
- Minimum of an OND or HND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a cashier within a hotel, restaurant, or customer-facing environment is an advantage.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial record-keeping.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel and automated billing systems.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
