About the Role
Castville Solutions is currently recruiting a dynamic, honest, and customer-centric Cashier for one of our reputable pharmacy partners. In this role, you will be the friendly face of the business, ensuring smooth daily sales operations, accurate financial reconciliation, and an inviting environment for all customers. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in accuracy, integrity, and outstanding service delivery within the healthcare retail space.
Key Responsibilities- Attend to customers promptly and process sales transactions accurately using cash, POS machines, and bank transfers.
- Issue valid receipts and reconcile daily sales, expenses, and cash at hand to generate comprehensive daily reports.
- Receive, verify, and properly arrange incoming inventory, ensuring accurate pricing and labeling.
- Monitor stock levels and promptly report low stock, expired products, or damaged goods to the supervising Pharmacist.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming cashier counter and surrounding shop environment.
- Assist with shelving, product display, and general retail duties during off-peak hours.
- Minimum of SSCE, OND, or NCE; an academic background in accounting or business is a distinct advantage.
- At least 1 year of proven experience working as a cashier, sales assistant, or shop attendant, preferably within a pharmacy or supermarket.
- Exceptional honesty, high numerical accuracy, and fast calculation skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and POS terminal usage.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Must be neat, polite, reliable, and willing to work weekends as scheduled.
- Must reside in close proximity to the work location.
