About the Role
Spinhive Laundromat & Cafe is an innovative, hospitality-driven commercial laundry facility and premium cafe lounge headquartered in the Ajah-Lekki corridor of Lagos. We deliver a seamless Wash, Work, and Dine ecosystem, transforming the traditional laundry experience into an efficient, multi-functional corporate and lifestyle hub. We are currently seeking a reliable, customer-centric Cashier to join our dynamic team at our Ogombo Road, Ajah location, ensuring smooth financial transactions and delivering top-tier hospitality to our esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily cash, POS, and digital payment transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional frontline hospitality that aligns with the Spinhive brand experience.
- Reconcile daily cash drawers, generate sales reports, and account for any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure checkout counter area at all times.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding laundry services, cafe offerings, and membership packages.
- Collaborate with floor staff and management to ensure seamless operations across the laundry and cafe sections.
- Minimum of OND, SSCE, or relevant academic qualification from a recognized institution.
- Proven work experience as a Cashier, Customer Service Representative, or similar role, preferably in hospitality, retail, or food and beverage.
- Exceptional numerical accuracy and basic accounting knowledge.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency in operating POS terminals and basic computer software.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work flexible shifts.
- Residing within Ajah, Ogombo Road, or immediate environs in Lagos is an added advantage.
