About the Role

Jamub Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Carpenter/Joiner to join our growing team of skilled tradespeople. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality structural carpentry and precision joinery for a wide range of construction and interior projects.

As part of our diverse conglomerate, you will contribute to projects spanning Business to Business (B2B), Business to Government (B2G), and Business to Consumer (B2C) sectors, working on both on-site structural installations and workshop-based joinery production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct roofs and install timber trusses in line with structural designs
  • Set up formwork (shuttering) for concrete works
  • Install door and window frames with precision and durability
  • Carry out flooring installation using various timber and wood-based materials
  • Build ceiling frameworks and support structures
  • Construct staircases to meet safety and design specifications
  • Erect timber partitions and temporary site structures as required
  • Produce and install doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, and wardrobes
  • Design and craft shelves, furniture, and wooden paneling
  • Execute decorative woodwork to enhance interior and exterior finishes
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Trade Test Certificate, OND, or equivalent vocational training in Carpentry/Joinery
  • Proven work experience as a Carpenter or Joiner in construction or furniture production
  • Strong knowledge of timber types, properties, and woodworking techniques
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings and construction plans
  • Good eye for detail and commitment to craftsmanship
  • Physical stamina and ability to work on-site and in workshop settings
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
