About the Role
County Cargo, a subsidiary of County Service Solution Nigeria Limited, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cargo Warehouse Assistant to join our growing logistics team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in accuracy, organization, and safety.
As a Cargo Warehouse Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse operations, from receiving and storing goods to preparing and dispatching orders for our clients shopping online from the USA to Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, count, and accurately record all incoming shipments.
- Load, unload, move, and store goods safely and efficiently.
- Sort, organize, label, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment with a high level of accuracy.
- Coordinate dispatch activities and delivery schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate stock records, and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Assist with stocktaking and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure all shipping and dispatch documentation is complete and accurate.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and proper material handling procedures.
- Support the logistics team with general warehouse and dispatch operations as required.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse goods safely.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications and email.
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
