About the Role
Aquatix Pharmaceutical Industry is proud to be a Nigerian-operated enterprise headquartered in Ikeja, Lagos, providing high-quality, affordable pharmaceutical formulations since 2008. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Capsule Filling Operator to join our dedicated production team and contribute to our rapid growth in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities- Operate automatic capsule filling machines efficiently and in strict adherence to approved Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ensure precise and consistent capsule filling, locking, and accurate weight control.
- Conduct routine in-process quality checks to monitor capsule appearance, integrity, and fill weight.
- Monitor overall machine performance, promptly reporting any technical faults or operational abnormalities.
- Perform thorough equipment cleaning, assembly, and line clearance before and after production runs.
- Complete batch manufacturing records and cleaning logs accurately to maintain compliance.
- Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), industrial hygiene, and workplace safety standards at all times.
- Minimum of one (1) year of proven work experience as a Capsule Filling Operator in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Practical, hands-on experience operating automatic capsule filling machinery.
- Strong knowledge of capsule filling mechanics, weight control, and quality verification.
- Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and comprehensive pharmaceutical documentation practices.
- Ability to perform equipment disassembly, cleaning, and routine operational checks independently.
