About the Role
Dangote Group, Africa's leading diversified manufacturing conglomerate, is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Business Planning & Performance Management Manager to join our corporate finance team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical leadership role, you will drive budgeting, financial forecasting, and comprehensive business performance management to support executive decision-making and sustainable corporate growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the annual budget, medium-term planning cycle, and consolidate Group-wide financial submissions.
- Own monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, variance analyses, and performance reviews.
- Drive cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, working capital optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level financial reports, dashboards, and strategic business insights for the Board.
- Oversee related-party reporting, transfer pricing, and ensure robust regulatory compliance.
- Lead internal and external benchmarking initiatives to identify productivity and profitability gaps.
- Support the implementation and automation of advanced FP&A systems and ERP tools like SAP and Oracle.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance and business planning analysts.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (Master's or MBA is an advantage).
- Mandatory professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA, or FP&A.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business planning, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Extensive industry background in manufacturing, heavy industrials, or FMCG sectors.
- Expertise in financial modeling, driver-based planning, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and business intelligence tools.
