About the Role
PalmPay is building an inclusive financial ecosystem that provides millions of customers with best-in-class digital services while offering our partners unprecedented scale. We are currently looking for dynamic and results-driven Business Developers to join our growing Pay With Transfer (PWT) team in Lagos. In this field-based role, you will play a vital part in expanding our merchant network, deploying innovative payment solutions, and driving active transaction volumes within assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, target, and acquire new merchants and businesses within assigned commercial markets and local government areas.
- Successfully deploy and activate Business Account Numbers and Pay With Transfer solutions for qualified merchants.
- Consistently achieve and exceed daily and weekly targets for merchant acquisition, activation, and transaction volumes.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with merchants to ensure high engagement and long-term retention.
- Explore emerging commercial hubs and identify strategic opportunities for brand growth and market expansion.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- 0 to 1 year of professional experience in sales, business development, field marketing, or merchant acquisition; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Prior background in fintech, agency banking, POS deployment, or payments is considered a strong added advantage.
- High comfort level with intensive field work, outdoor networking, and target-driven environments.
- Must currently reside within the Oshodi-Isolo LGA to ensure seamless field execution.
