We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager to lead our branch operations in Jos, driving business development and financial performance while promoting our mission to support local micro-entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee daily branch operations to ensure seamless service delivery and high operational standards.
- Drive business development initiatives, implementing strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
- Supervise staff performance, providing mentorship, training, and regular evaluations to build a motivated team.
- Monitor loan and deposit activities, ensuring sound credit risk management and portfolio growth.
- Analyze branch financial reports, manage budgets, and track key performance metrics to achieve profitability targets.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, CBN regulations, and relevant banking standards.
- Manage cash operations, resolve complex customer issues, and foster strong community relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in branch management, retail banking, or microfinance operations.
- Strong understanding of credit, savings, and micro-lending products.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop branch personnel.
- Excellent financial acumen, with the ability to interpret statements and manage budgets.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the Jos market and local micro-entrepreneurship dynamics is an added advantage.
