About the Role
G-Prest Imperial Limited is an agro-allied manufacturing company established with a clear purpose: to add value to Nigeria’s agricultural sector through the production of high-quality animal feeds while contributing to food security, sustainable development, employment creation, and economic growth. We are currently seeking a dedicated Boiler Operator to join our dynamic production team and ensure the reliable supply of steam and treated water for our feed mill.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor the boiler to maintain steady and reliable steam generation for ongoing production processes.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, including greasing and oiling boiler equipment.
- Conduct boiler water treatment processes, such as performing conductivity checks and preparing necessary chemicals.
- Remove ash and soot regularly to maintain optimal boiler performance and efficiency.
- Monitor steam pressure, steam quality, and water availability continuously to support plant operations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve boiler faults quickly while thoroughly inspecting all associated accessories.
- Maintain clear and accurate operational logs for daily activities, maintenance schedules, and water treatment procedures.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and collaborate effectively with the production and technical teams.
- OND in a science-related discipline or relevant technical field.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and a strong commitment to the safe operation of industrial equipment.
- Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in boiler operations or a similar industrial utility role.
- Sound understanding of steam systems, troubleshooting techniques, water treatment, and general boiler care.
